Critical PHP security update: check your WordPress site's PHP version today.
On October 21, PHP released fixes for two critical vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, both rated 9.2 on CVSS v4.0) that can allow remote code execution without a login. Every PHP install serving web pages is in scope, and the PHP security team rates Apache mod_php as the most exposed, with a demonstrated exploit.
Patched versions: 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 and 8.2.35.
PHP 8.1 and older get no official release from the PHP project: ask your host about a backported fix, or upgrade to a supported version.
Check yours in one minute: WordPress dashboard → Tools → Site Health → Info → Server.
I updated my own sites the same evening: backup first, key pages checked before and after. If you'd like me to check or update yours, message me here.
This is genuinely useful, Zakaria. The one-minute check path through Site Health is the kind of thing most site owners would never find on their own, and flagging that 8.1 and older get no official release is the detail that actually moves people to upgrade. Have you seen hosts...
From a UX perspective, every section serves a purpose. From a UI perspective, every visual decision contributes to a consistent, intuitive, and carefully crafted experience.
Because a strong brand shouldn’t just look good; it must also inspire trust, communicate with clarity, and ensure that every interaction is meaningful.
Digital design where identity, aesthetics, and experience all work in the same direction.
That bold 'SHHHHH!' typography paired with the high-contrast yellow and black can gives it so much shelf and screen presence. Beverage landing pages usually drown in generic fruit splash renders, so keeping the art direction this punchy and graphic really sets it apart.
Sometimes, one really good piece of work is all it takes to change your life.
FourthWall is my most popular project on Behance, with around 18K views and 1,000+ saves. But its impact goes far beyond the numbers. Until this project, as an Indian freelance designer, I had only managed to work with clients from my own country. FourthWall changed that. It brought enquiries from international clients across the US, UK, Italy, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Japan, and many more countries. It opened doors I never expected and genuinely changed my life as a designer.
When I designed this website, the owner gave me complete creative freedom and trusted my design decisions. He was open to exploring new directions, which made the entire process enjoyable. I will always be grateful to FourthWall’s founder for trusting me and giving me the freedom to create something that went on to be loved by so many people.
To anyone just starting out on freelance platforms, keep pushing yourself. Keep improving your work, keep showing up, and never stop posting.
You never know which project will change your life. Sometimes, all it takes is one.
Simply loved the design👌
