Hello, I'm new in Contra! And thought of making this as my first post - 🎵 every brand gets a playlist
when i took on Melodies of Summer for RX Coffee Apothecary, the brief was a summer campaign. but summer has a sound, and you can't design a full sensory experience without actually feeling it first!
so before the vinyl coasters, the cassette displays, the IG assets, the postcards — there was a playlist. there always is.
it's one of those little rituals that doesn't show up in the deliverables deck but shapes everything that does. the color pulls, the type mood, the pacing of the layouts — a lot of that comes from what's playing while i'm working. and when a new brand lands on my client list, that's the first thing i make.
for MoS it was warm, a little hazy, the kind of music that sounds like you're melting into a good afternoon. you'll know it when you hear it. 🎶
