This project was developed in an academic context and consisted in transforming Max Aub's book “Crimes Exemplares” into an editorial object. The book is composed by short texts of dark humor that recount confessions of murders committed for trivial reasons. Our proposal was inspired by the dynamics of the game Cards Against Humanity and the visual aesthetics of Dumb Ways to Die, contrasting the violence of the stories with illustrated and friendly characters. We selected some crimes and divided the texts into cards that the player can combine with each other. To ensure that the original version of each crime was recognizable, we used illustrations of each character on the back of the cards that only complete each other like a puzzle when the sequence of the text is correct.
