Sheepy is a digital wellness app focused on reducing screen time through a virtual pet a sheep that grows and thrives as the user cuts back on phone usage. I joined the project at an already advanced stage, with development teams already in place. The character previously existed as a social media persona, featured in storytelling-style posts showing Sheepy in everyday situations alongside other sheep. Building on that foundation, the decision was made to expand Sheepy from a social media character into a full multi-product brand: a social community, a habit-building app, interactive web experiences, and a presence in the crypto space through MoonSheep.

Role: Design Engineer. My main responsibility was translating ideas and brand concepts into finished products, under tight timelines and a high degree of creative freedom. The work moved across three fronts:

Building web pages in Webflow, using the Adobe Suite to create the necessary graphic assets, freeing up the design team to focus exclusively on the app's UI/UX. Converting audiovisual proposals (created by external teams) into interactive web formats using Rive.

Providing creative direction for the app design team, including full design, flow, and animation for the Onboarding experience.

Outcome

This work allowed the Sheepy brand to remain coherent across multiple surfaces (app, web, crypto) while preserving a consistent personality and visual identity, without creating bottlenecks for the UI/UX design team thanks to a clear division of responsibilities.
