Your business already has content. But is it doing enough for you?
A podcast episode, webinar, useful post or business insight can hold valuable information for your audience.
But creating the content is only one part of the job. Sometimes, that idea needs to be adapted into an email that gives readers a reason to open, keeps them interested and guides them towards one clear next step.
That’s a service I’m developing through my copywriting portfolio: turning existing ideas into focused, reader-centred marketing emails.
My approach starts with three questions:
— What does the audience need to understand?
— Why should this matter to them?
— What should they do next?
Because good email copy isn’t just about putting words together. It’s about giving the message a purpose.
If you’re a coach, consultant or business owner, I’d be interested to know: Do you currently repurpose your existing content into emails, or does most of it stop at the original post, podcast or video?
Spot on, Pelumi! Adapting and repurposing insights from webinars and podcasts is where the real leverage is for businesses. However, turning spoken audio into written content often leaves raw text looking incredibly chaotic or robotic. As an AI Content Editor and Proofreader, I...
Thank you, Mubarak. I agree that repurposing content is about more than simply turning spoken words into text. The message needs to flow naturally, stay true to the original insight, and give the reader a clear reason to engage.
Product page or landing page for your ads?
Neither by default. It depends on how warm the click is.
Cold traffic needs a page that does the selling. Warm and hot traffic need fewer steps.
Either way, the page should finish the ad's sentence. Then test it.
If your onboarding emails don't guide them toward their first meaningful action, they may never discover the value of your product.
I created a 5-email onboarding sequence for Task Flow, a B2B SaaS project, designed to guide users from signup to feature adoption and eventually a paid upgrade.
The sequence covers:
Welcome and quick wins
Feature adoption
Social proof
Objection handling
Upgrade prompts
