Just crossed my first $1k on Contra.
Not a huge number, but honestly that’s not really the point.
What’s been interesting is how smooth the whole process has been — proposal, contract, invoicing, payment — all handled in one place without a bunch of back and forth.
I’ve been focused on building and shipping, so having the operational side feel this lightweight makes a bigger difference than I expected.
Feels like a solid platform to keep building on.
Curious to see how it scales over time.

One thing I didn't mention in my last post, the client of this project.
From the first call, they knew what they wanted but were open to being challenged on it. That combo is rare. We pushed back on a few design directions, they pushed back on ours, and what came out the other side was genuinely better for it.
By the end, they told us it was the smoothest design process they'd been through. That stuck with me.
