I’ve been exploring new directions for my own brand identity, and it took me somewhere I didn’t expect: the azulejos of Porto.
The process: → Started in Figma, from Marisa’s identity and her patterns for my visual ID. → Defined the directions I wanted to explore → Used AI to test them at scale, with many variations at once → Along the way, the idea of azulejos came up. The tiles of Porto, the city I now call home, weren’t part of the plan at first → Explored tile compositions the same way, then brought them into motion and short videos
The ideas were mine. AI gave me room to test many of them quickly before landing on what I wanted, and having that space to experiment helped a lot.
This is the kind of work I enjoy doing for brands: taking an identity that already exists and finding new ways to use it across product, web and content.
If your brand has a strong identity and you’d like to take it further than the logo, I’d be happy to talk.
