I built RacePulse, an interactive broadcast interface for live racing.
The goal was to design a UI that doesn’t just display race data, but responds to it.
An overtake, for example, can trigger multiple changes across the interface:
• The leaderboard updates • Driver positions swap • The selected driver changes • The circuit map highlights the driver • The event feed records the overtake
I built the experience in Rive, using state machines, data binding, scripting, and interactive components to connect the different parts of the system.
One of the biggest things I explored with this project was how motion can communicate changing information, rather than simply being visual decoration.
The result is a broadcast UI designed around one idea:
One event. One system. Multiple reactions.
I’m continuing to explore the space where product design, motion, and interactive technology come together.
