Synchronous API calls for resource-heavy operations (such as transactional emails and notification triggers) cause request bottlenecks, slow client response times, and system failure risks under heavy load.
The Solution & Impact
Engineered an event-driven microservice system that offloads heavy background processing to decoupled queue workers, ensuring non-blocking API performance and maximum throughput.
RabbitMQ Event Queue Topology: Designed fault-tolerant message exchanges and queues to reliably route and buffer asynchronous background tasks.
Node.js & Redis Worker Pipeline: Built high-performance worker services using Fastify, Node.js, and Redis caching for rapid job consumption and task deduplication.
Production-Ready Operations: Fully containerized with Docker for easy orchestration, featuring automated transactional email dispatches via Nodemailer and live queue health monitoring.

Shopify Email Automation & CRO Journey Setup
Good Kitty Co had a strong product narrative in the women’s intimate health space, but the post-purchase experience was effectively silent. Customers were completing orders or subscribing, and then the journey stopped. We're missing structured onboarding, reassurance after purchase, and branded communication that reinforces trust in a sensitive health category.
Encyphers stepped in to rebuild the post-purchase ecosystem within Shopify, focusing on Shopify CRO, email automation, and customer journey design that support long-term retention rather than one-time conversions.
