Instagram Reels for physician led health publication
I edit his Instagram reels as part of the content and automation system I built for the publication.
- What I produce
B-roll reels: Short clips with on-screen hook text, each built from a long-form article on topics like blood pressure, PPI side effects, sunscreen, home birth and shift work.
Podcast clip reels: Cut-downs of guest interviews, built around the single strongest idea from each episode.
- How the reels convert
Each reel ends with a comment-keyword CTA (such as BIRTH, SHIFT or STACK) instead of a link in bio. When a viewer comments the keyword, a GoHighLevel automation sends them the article or episode by DM. That turns each reel into an entry point to the publication's subscriber funnel.
My role
1. Picked the article or episode angle for each reel and wrote the hook text
2. Edited the reels and on-screen text
3. Built the ManyChat keyword DM automations that each reel's CTA triggers
4. Tracked the reels in a Notion content calendar alongside the publication's carousels and posts
I used Seedance 2.5 to get me a clip that suited my vision , simple prompt based clip further rendered in 4k afterwards in the editor. I went on to work on it in the timeline where my personal agent Kelex Blu helped out. I did not add in the minimalist effect initially so he helped me place exactly that in the beginning, fed in suggestions for color grading and refinement and smartly explained what he saw and suggested what would work best. Smart guy !
