Is it hyper meta to post our refresh for @Contra...on contra?
Earlier this year we got a call from Contra asking if we'd help out with their visual identity. We were like, "Your brand is pretty dope as is. I don't think you need us."
Once we talked to Ben & Erin was hooked. I needed to be a part of this. So we got to work.
Thanks for having us! Hope you all dig the work.
We started by just updating the symbol and wordmark everrrrr-so-slightly so it could be a little more screen friendly. We put a lot of love into that "a".
We also introduced GT Standard as an inter replacement. We just loved that the lowercase a's matched the wordmark.
The main thing we were actually hired to do was strategy. We went all in on ONE LINE.
Get more creative.
It felt absolutely perfect for what they were doing over there. Supporting the creative community AND helping teams grow their creative depts. Win win.
