Good to know, so this is really a read on first impression rather than actual purchase intent. Are you planning to put it in front of real buyers before locking the direction, or does instinct carry more weight for something like this?

I explored two different logo directions for Lion Bay Frozen Seafood, keeping the same brand name but giving each concept a distinct personality.
š“ Option A feels more refined and story-driven, combining the lion, ocean, and fishing boat to create a strong sense of identity and heritage.
šµ Option B takes a bolder, more powerful approach with a striking lion illustration and a badge-style composition that feels energetic and memorable.
Both could work for a seafood brand, but they communicate very different personalities.

option a's got a refinement to it that feels more trustworthy for food-related anything, in my opinion! i'd lean for b if there was a mention of any bar element in focus for marketing, but the classic imagery is one i could see resonating super well (especially down here in new orleans, seafood central)!
Which bottle would you reach for?
One is steeped in sunshine: gold tea, condensation on glass, a cut peach on warm stone above the Mediterranean.
The other lives after dark: deep red hibiscus glowing against a wet rooftop, city lights behind it.
One is the afternoon. The other is the night. š
