SHEET METAL CHAIR/LAP DESK/ BOOK STAND CAD 3D PRODUCT DESIGN SOLIDWORKS

I designed a versatile, multi-functional sheet metal furniture piece that easily transitions between a chair, lap desk, and book stand. Using SolidWorks Sheet Metal tools, I engineered the flat-pattern layouts, precise bend allowances, and interlocking tab joints. The design minimizes material waste and is optimized for low-cost laser cutting and press brake bending. Deliverables included fully detailed production-ready DXF files and clean renders showing assembly configurations.
