Showing up authentically online is a non-negotiable for me. However, when it comes to "professional" social networks, I find it difficult to speak publicly about what I do. Here at Nomad Farm in Brazil, I've been spending my days with other freelancers, creatives, and remote workers. Authenticity comes up a lot in conversation. Now it's easier than ever to plug a couple of sentences into ChatGPT and come up with a 200-word LinkedIn post where the "writer" can share their so-called unique perspective on any subject matter. I'm not very interested in sharing what I know about copywriting, if I'm being honest. Instead, I'd rather write about my life as a traveling writer. That's what authenticity looks like for me. Is it hard-hitting? Am I sharing in-depth insights about XYZ? No, and no.
Stay tuned for more. ❤️‍🔥
