Question for the Contra community, if I were to start learning one of these two, which one would you pick and why? My background is in brand design, specially for apparel, lifestyle, outdoor companies. I don't really have any background in web development or programming in general. Thanks in advance!

Coming from brand design with apparel/lifestyle clients, I'd lean Framer since its design-first canvas feels closer to what you already know from Figma, less of a mental jump into dev logic. Webflow gives more raw control but has a steeper CMS/interactions curve. Are you leaning toward one already?

Thank you!
You know I have built like 2 landing pages on Webflow before, I found their official tutorials really well produced and the dead pan humor on them got me interested, but I didn’t know about Framer back then, and seems like here most people lean to Framer over webflow....

i did not use webflow but framer is the best with disgn

Thank you Adel, I hear both are really good for designers with no programming background!

Exactly. I'd start with Framer, then learn Webflow later if your projects require more advanced interactions. Both are great skills to have. 🚀

I see, does that mean Framer doesn't have advanced interactions?

Framer, given your background. It's built around a visual, design first canvas that feels close to Figma, so the jump is smaller. Webflow gives you more control eventually but the CMS and class based styling has a real learning curve if you've never touched anything code adjacent.

For me it's Framer, learning curve of webflow is long but still worth the try.
