Visual Identity for BRICKLON
A visual identity concept for BRICKLON, a construction and building-materials brand.
For the logo, I combined geometric forms inspired by building blocks and structural foundations to represent the strength and stability that construction is built upon. The symbol reflects the idea of individual elements coming together to form a strong and lasting structure.
For the typography, I selected Croogla for its bold, geometric character, which complements the structured nature of the logo and reinforces the brand's strong and modern personality. Geom was introduced as a complementary typeface for digital and social media applications, providing a clean and readable balance.
I then explored the visual identity across real-world brand applications to understand how the logo and overall system would translate beyond the screen from workwear and ID cards to vehicles, signage, digital platforms, and other brand touchpoints.

I’ve been slowly updating all of our project imagery across a new website update and and our internal decks.
Logos are only a small fraction of what we do for clients now, but I still love starting there. They often set the tone for the wider identity, the visual language, and the story we’re trying to tell.
Also, pretty satisfying seeing some of my favourites all together on one page.

I just joined Contra and I’m still figuring out how things work around here, so I thought I’d introduce myself instead of quietly lurking.
I’m Mariya, founder, strategist and lead designer behind Mariya Design. I’ve worked internationally since 2015, and today I run a boutique branding studio focused on brand identity systems for premium and luxury-led brands.
Most of my work sits somewhere between identity, packaging and the wider system around them. I’m particularly interested in what happens after the logo: how typography, color, packaging, digital applications and brand rules actually hold together as the business grows.
One project I’ve been revisiting recently is SAE-REN, a premium beauty and wellness identity system. I’m currently rebuilding some of my case-study presentation system, so it felt like a good one to share here first.
And since I’m genuinely new to Contra, I’d love to hear from people who have been active here for a while:
