Roots Africa - Editorial Website Design in Figma OVERVIEW A cultural discovery landing page created for Designation’s UI/UX challenge. The brief called for an inviting introduction to African countries, cultural experiences, traditions and stories.

MY ROLE Visual direction, landing page design, desktop and mobile composition, and Figma handoff.

DESIGN APPROACH I built the page around three entry points: destinations, experiences and stories. A warm ivory canvas and expressive serif headlines establish an editorial tone. Forest green gives the living-culture section its own setting, while terracotta and gold connect the page’s accents.

DELIVERABLES Editable desktop and mobile Figma designs; section navigation and primary exploration links; colour tokens, reusable buttons and handoff notes.
