I finished my first evaluation for Contra Labs and can officially say I’ve now judged AI-generated design work and it was helpful and needed 🤣😭
I got into Contra Labs back in May, and I was genuinely so excited about the idea of using my design judgment to help improve how these systems evaluate creative work.
Actually gassed I finally got to complete one. Can’t wait for more evaluations.
Hi Ayomide, how were you able to submit your annotations in step 2, i have been stuck at it for a while despite completing 17+ annotation, the button to submit does not just show up, stays greyed out
Hi Onyebuchi! I didn’t run into that issue. My submit button appeared after I completed the required annotations. Maybe double-check that none are incomplete or missing a required response, then try refreshing the page. If it’s still greyed out, I’d contact support.

Turned the sketch into a prompt, let AI generate the first pass. It wasn't finished:
Hero image was missing, sourced and fit one myself
Removed a gradient overlay that clashed with the minimal look
Swapped placeholder images for real product shots
Lengthened a line that felt cramped
Darkened the blue to match the mood
AI got me most of the way there. The judgment calls were still mine.
