Playing around with fuzzy tennis balls 🎾
The green one is fully 3D, made in Cinema 4D + Redshift. I then used Seedream 5.0 to quickly explore the pink version and experiment with a different color and feel.
Really enjoying this mix of traditional 3D and AI for fast visual exploration.

fuzzy render is the hard part, nailed it

Thanks! Yeah, getting the fuzz to feel right was definitely the tricky part. Glad it came through!

looking fantastic, the pink is so much fun! off the top of your head, for that one in particular, if you could use it to collaborate with an existing brand, which would it be?

Good question! Off the top of my head, probably Jacquemus. I could see the pink one working really well in a playful, slightly surreal tennis-inspired campaign for them.

i can see this working out brilliantly, actually. anything surreal has my heart.

The fuzz on the green one is unreasonably convincing for a still render, that's not an easy material to fake in Cinema 4D. Now that you've tried both, would you actually finish a piece with Seedream, or is it staying a fast color and mood exploration tool before you commit to the full 3D render?

Sometimes working on the look and lighting in Cinema 4D gives me more control to get exactly what I have in mind, and then I use AI to quickly explore different variations from there.
But I also do the opposite sometimes, starting with AI to test a concept before building it...
