🚀 My First Automation with Make
For a long time, I was learning automation—but I kept facing one problem: I had the knowledge, but no real use case to build a project around.
So, this time I decided to build something practical for my own website.
Before this automation, when someone submitted a form, I had to manually check the data and make sure I didn’t miss any potential client.
Now, the workflow is automated:
User submits form → Supabase → Webhook → Google Sheets → Gmail notification
This means:
✅ Form data is automatically stored
✅ Data is sent to Google Sheets through a webhook
✅ I receive a Gmail notification instantly
✅ Less manual work
✅ Lower chance of missing a potential client
✅ A more organized workflow
It’s a simple automation, but for me, it’s an important step from learning automation to actually building with it.
And now I’m ready to take on more complex automation projects. 🚀

@Mosaddek Hosen Sajeeb Using Supabase as the source of record while pushing submissions to Google Sheets is a practical split. Does the Gmail step include the submitted details or just an alert?

The Gmail step includes the submitted details, not just a generic alert. That way, I can immediately see the client’s information without having to open Google Sheets every time. Google Sheets works as an organized record, while Gmail gives me an instant notification with the submission details.
