Client pushed back. Dispatchers create these bookings all day, and two steps meant two clicks and two loads every single time. For someone doing this dozens of times a shift, that adds up fast.
Went back to one screen. Everything a dispatcher needs to create a booking, in one place, no step switching.
Not every flow benefits from breaking it into steps. If the task is repetitive and the person doing it is fast and experienced, fewer screens can actually be less work, not more.

When I moved to Portugal, I had a big desire to build something for the community.
As I'm living in a small town called Costa da Caparica, I did some research and found out that the aren't enough information about it on the internet, and many local businesses aren't present online at all.
So I decided to create such a platform for tourists, locals, and digital nomads - a place where I gather information about where to go, what to visit, where to buy what you need, where to find a doctor, a pharmacy, or a surf coach.
I'm planning to add even more features with time, such as local news, info about events, etc. What surprised me is that right after launching the website, a few business owners reached out to me with requests to add their businesses to my platform.
What features would you add to this website to make it even more useful?
