Book Club is for people who want to actually read together, not just talk about reading in a group chat that loses the thread every time the club picks a new book. An organizer sets the current book, manages members, and keeps a history of everything the club has read. Members request to join, follow each other's progress through the book, and talk in discussion threads tied to that specific title.
I started with one prompt to Bubble AI. It generated a basic club list, a book list, and a join button. That was a reasonable starting structure, but it treated "books I'm reading" and "books my club is reading" as the same thing, with no way to move a club from one book to the next once it finished.
From there, I rebuilt the navigation and added the screens the AI version didn't include: Library, Club Details, Discussions, Reading Progress, Login. The harder part was the database. I restructured it so a single book could exist in two histories at once, a person's personal reading list and a club's shared reading history, without duplicating data or breaking when someone drops out mid-book. I also added an approval step for private clubs, so joining isn't one click. It's a request the organizer has to accept.

Hi everyone! 👁️ I built Second Eye for the @bubble #PromptAndCircumstance hackathon — and it's basically the brutally honest design critic every designer secretly needs.
Here's the idea: you drop in a design, and Second Eye scores it. Not with a vague "looks good" — but with a real breakdown across visual hierarchy, typography, color, spacing, accessibility, and usability. Every category gets a score, what's working, and what to fix. Then it tracks your progress over time on a dashboard, so you can actually watch your craft improve.
The heart of Second Eye is an analytics dashboard. It surfaces a designer's average AI score, total and published projects, peer ratings, and a score-trend chart — turning scattered feedback into measurable, trackable performance data that helps designers see how their work improves over time.
There's also a community side — a gallery where designers share work, leave critiques, and rate each other.
What I love about building this: it started as a single Bubble AI prompt. The AI gave me the skeleton — the layout, the data structure, the gallery. Everything after that was me reshaping it into something that actually works: the critique engine, the scoring logic, the trend chart, the whole community layer.
First time ever building on Bubble — and I shipped a real, working product. 🚀

From there, I expanded the AI-generated foundation into a complete marketplace using Bubble's AI Agent, native workflows, relational databases, and plugins to build the entire experience within Bubble.
