Lately, I’ve been diving deep into Cursor, Claude, and AI agents.
Instead of just watching tutorials, I decided to learn by building something myself — a Figma plugin from scratch. There are already plenty of similar solutions out there, but my goal was to understand the entire creation process, from idea to a working product.
And here’s the result: I went from zero knowledge to a functioning plugin in just two days.
The plugin already helps identify issues in design files and highlights things that are easy to miss during day-to-day work. Of course, I’m still not 100% satisfied with it — there’s always room for improvement. But for a first attempt, I’m pretty happy with the outcome.
The most exciting part is that while building it, I started coming up with new ideas for Design System automation: naming conventions, component structure, style organization, and other repetitive tasks that could be streamlined with AI.
Looks like this is just the beginning 😄

Wowww, great job 😍 Intrigued for part 2! You know, your approach to testing things yourself (from scratch!) reminded me the Tumblr times back in idk 2012-2014 maybe when everyone was photoshopping pics, memes, gifs etc. and I created my own "colors" (layers with different image...
But they still matter, don't they? 😊
The people who stand out, stay curious, and learn a little more than what's actually required seem to have an advantage. Maybe the tools changed, but the idea feels exactly the same?
Hopefully! :) Those people should probably try sleeping occasionally as well but that's completely other topic of discussion..

But figma is not accepting new creators at the moment isn't it?
As far as I know, that's mostly about publishing to the Community.
For me the goal was simply to build something that works inside my own Figma workflow, so I wasn't really thinking about publishing it yet 😄

Rebuilding a whole landing page with just one prompt is such a cool experiment, Alex! Did Claude Code manage to handle the Framer-specific layout structure well on the first try?
Web concept for bem. The product turns messy documents into structured data, so the brand does the same thing visually. Every image dissolves into pixels, every layout resolves back into grid.
How did you first come up with the idea to use pixel dissolution to represent unstructured data? Did you explore any other visual metaphors before landing on this one?
I already shared the first concept a few days ago, but I couldn’t stop exploring 😅
