Why LTX Audio-to-Video works so well for musical performances
For my AI music video Ricky Valance – “Sealed With a Kiss,” one of the main challenges was making the singer’s performance feel naturally connected to the original recording.
For these shots, I used LTX-2.3 Quality Audio-to-Video. I added the model from fal.ai to my Figma Weave workflow using its model URL and generated continuous clips of up to 20 seconds.
The longer duration was important. It allowed facial expressions, head and shoulder movement, breathing, and performance energy to develop naturally across complete musical phrases instead of resetting every few seconds.
In my experience, this workflow works especially well for:
• singers • pianists • guitarists • drummers • other audio-driven performances
LTX uses the audio as the foundation for the movement, helping the performer respond to the rhythm, dynamics, and emotional changes in the music.
It does not automatically guarantee perfect lip-sync or technically accurate interaction with every instrument. The final result still requires careful prompting, shot selection, editing, and continuity control.
But for musical performances, LTX-2.3 Quality Audio-to-Video is one of the strongest workflows I have tested. The movement feels driven by the actual recording rather than added randomly afterward.
When audio drives the emotion, it should also help drive the motion.
