Aza Raskin, a technology engineer and designer at the interface company Humanized, invented infinite scrolling in 2006. Originally designed to create a smooth and uninterrupted browsing experience by eliminating the need to click to view new pages, Raskin later expressed regret about this invention, noting its role in creating an addictive, time-consuming form of "behavioral cocaine." ☀️ Today, we propose an update to this invention aimed at limiting the addiction mechanism. @Philippe Côté Neat approach to the problem from a visual paradigm perspective. Another idea could be showing a regular scrollbar and gradually expanding the scrollbar handle until it fills the entire track.
