Do Cold DMs/Mails, work? I would, Yes, they do! It's been almost a year since I started my freelance journey, and thanks to cold DMs have been able to survive and, to be frank, prosper in my 1st year of business. But just messaging someone to ask them to give you some work doesn't work you need to prove to them that you are providing value to them in a way that is beneficial to them. So, I started taking these calls over the past year with people in my industry to just to get to know them and build a relationship first and hopefully collaboration in the future. If nothing happens, then you improved your communication that is the worst that can happen! Yesterday too had a similar call with Alexander Kaas, a great guy; to be frank one of the best conversations I had, and he had been in the industry for more than 14 years. Internet has made it so easy to make connections for people from around the world. USE IT TO YOUR BENEFIT!!!!
