AI wrote the first version of that section.

I rewrote it.

Not because it was wrong. The logic was fine. The syntax was clean. It would have shipped.

But I've been in enough Shopify builds to know that "fine" and "right" aren't the same thing. The component worked, but it just didn't fit the way the rest of the store breathed. The spacing was slightly off. The interaction felt borrowed from somewhere else.

That's the thing nobody says out loud: AI is fast at the what. It still doesn't know the why.

The judgment about whether something belongs in this store, for this brand, at this moment, that part hasn't changed. That's still the work.
