This project showcases the creation of a cohesive brand identity for Popa, an artisanal candy store. The goal was to build a playful, memorable brand centered around a charismatic mascot and a sweet tagline: "Makes Everyday Sweeter."

Step 1: Character Exploration & Iteration
The foundation of the brand relies heavily on its mascot. The initial phase focused on testing variations to nail down the character's artistic style and visual appeal.
Refining the Prompts
To pivot from a generic design to a specific, stylized look, precise prompt adjustments were used:
Stylization: simplify the style of the character
Thematic detailing: the bows should be from candy
Visual Balance: Adjusting the mascot's proportions to ensure a friendly and approachable appearance.

Step 2: Creating Complete Character Sheets
Once the base design was finalized, Recraft.ai generated two comprehensive character sheets to guide future brand assets.
Sheet 1: Anatomy & Core Story
This sheet focused on consistency across angles and established the mascot's background.
Prompt Used: generates a presentation sheet of this character containing the colors used in the character design, the character in 4 different positions: front, back, side and eating a lollipop. With a short character story: is a mascot for the Popa brand, an artisanal candy store. The character is cheerful, friendly, playful, minimalistic, and classic.
Sheet 2: Expressions & Actions
The second sheet expanded on the character's personality and tied the mascot directly to the artisanal craft.
Prompt Used: Show the character in the style of the second images: 4 variations of facial expressions, the character making artisanal candy, with traits focusing on a playful, classic, and friendly aesthetic.

Step 3: Logo Design & Brand Typography
With the mascot finalized, the next step was integrating it into a versatile corporate logo. The typography needed to balance a retro feel with modern readability.
Logo Variations
A single prompt was engineered to output three distinct variations for different media placements:
Icon Only: Just the symbol utilizing a stylized letter 'P'.
Full Lockup: Symbol, brand name, and the slogan.
Standard Lockup: Symbol and brand name.
Prompt Used: create a minimalistic logo with character as mascot. The text for the logo should be Popa with the slogan Makes Every Day Sweeter. The text is bold, easy to read. Popa is in a 70' style handwriting. The logo is in 3 variations: 1 just the symbol with P, 2 symbol, name and slogan, 3 symbol and name

Step 4: Real-World Retail Mockups
To test the commercial viability of the branding, the flat logo assets were projected onto photorealistic retail environments.
Using Recraft's image-to-image and style reference tools, the vector logo was seamlessly blended into a physical store setup to visualize storefront signage and window displays.
Prompt Used: create me an image with the logo from the first image but on the photo realistic shop like in the second image how will look like

Step 5: Animating Assets into Promo Videos
The final stage of the workflow involved bringing the static character and logo assets to life. Using AI video generation tools, the finalized character sheets and logos were transformed into short, dynamic promotional videos, perfect for social media marketing and digital storefront displays.
