Which approach works better?
I’ve been working on a Product Detail Page (PDP) for an e-commerce platform. The product is highly customizable, but the flow still needs to feel linear and guided, with a few additional features built in.
The main focus is on UX over pure UI specifically how well we can funnel users through the flow and make the experience as smooth as possible.
Note: The higher information density is intentional. The target audience is enterprise/organizational buyers who need detailed specifications, not typical individual consumers.

The brandbook lays that promise out in detail - tone, restraint, what the brand should never feel like. My job was carrying that same discipline into the product itself.
I worked across the checkout flow, the storefront and category browsing, and the product page above the fold - three surfaces where small frictions had quietly built up against the brand's own case for calm. The brandbook gave the rules. The UI work was making sure those rules survived contact with a real cart and a real user.
For the case study visuals, I used AI for the first time to produce product footage 🤖 - wind moving through a scene, an object drifting in place. Higgsfield was genuinely a good way to learn that workflow fast.

Genuinely curious where people land on this: generating production assets with AI is fast, and honestly kind of fun as a workflow - but there's real pushback that it's taking work away from people who used to shoot this stuff. Where do you fall on that?
The checkout flow detail is what stands out to me, that's usually where a brand's calm promise turns into three different button behaviors fighting each other. On your AI question, I think it matters less whether it's fast and more who's checking the output against the brand's...

I created both of these visuals with AI for a client project, and I’m curious what the Contra community thinks.
The goal is not necessarily to choose the “prettier” image, but the one that would be more effective for a food/dessert brand on social media.
A: Lifestyle-focused, with the product being consumed + an Instagram/social proof element B: More playful and product-focused, using the donuts as the main visual hook
If you were choosing one for a paid social campaign or organic Instagram content, which one would you bet on?
And if you have second, I’d love to know why. Is it the composition, visual hook, product appetite appeal, storytelling, or something else?
Both are AI-generated, so I’m also curious whether that affects your perception of the creative.

Option A is a total winner for paid ad performance! Lifestyle storytelling combined with a social proof hook instantly builds trust and drives conversions, whereas Option B is great for top of funnel organic feeds. Both look amazingly seamless for AI visuals 🍩✨
