A designer showed me a screen last week that was genuinely beautiful. Spacing, type and motion. Then I asked who it was for, and what problem it solved. He didn’t say anything “Just Silence” That’s the whole shift, right there. AI didn’t make UI unimportant. It made generic UI free. Anyone can prompt a beautiful screen now. What nobody can prompt is the reason it should exist. ✅ What the data isn’t saying ✅ How a user actually feels, not what they type in a survey ✅ Which “correct” solution is right for this business, right now None of that lives on a canvas. It lives in conversations with data, with users, with the people who’ll build it. The tools got faster. The thinking got more valuable.
