A designer showed me a screen last week that was genuinely beautiful. Spacing, type and motion. Then I asked who it was for, and what problem it solved.
He didn’t say anything “Just Silence”
That’s the whole shift, right there.
AI didn’t make UI unimportant.
It made generic UI free.
Anyone can prompt a beautiful screen now. What nobody can prompt is the reason it should exist.
✅ What the data isn’t saying
✅ How a user actually feels, not what they type in a survey
✅ Which “correct” solution is right for this business, right now
None of that lives on a canvas. It lives in conversations with data, with users, with the people who’ll build it.
The tools got faster.
The thinking got more valuable.

Which hero direction feels right for this founder-focused brand?
While working on the homepage for Sean Parsons, a brand focused on empowering non-technical founders to launch tech startups, I explored two different visual directions for the hero section. Same message, same structure, just a different mood and color system.
Option 1 - Warm Olive. Dark, grounded, and editorial, giving a warm, established, expert feel.
Option 2 - Light Purple. Clean, modern, and vibrant, giving a fresh, SaaS-like, approachable feel.
Would love your honest UX/UI take, which direction feels more trustworthy, engaging, and aligned with a founder-focused brand, and why?
