Hello everyone I'm Prem, and this is ORBIT, my entry for the Flowstep.ai Challenge.
We all lose touch with friends we loved from school, from college. Nobody's fault. Life gets busy, and by the time you notice, it's been years.
Losing a friend isn't a decision you make; it's something you find out about, long after it happened. Everyone means to react out . Nothing reminds you that you haven't.
So I built the thing that keeps track. In Orbit you're the sun, and your friends are planets orbiting you. How far out a planet sits is how long you've been quiet. Tanmay hasn't heard from me in 212 days, so he's stopped moving he's asleep, with little z's floating off him.
The distance isn't decoration, the picture is the data. Your glance at your galaxy.
And it doesn't nudge you to "check in." It gives you a reason: her show opens Friday, and you saved her flyer in March. You send a Shooting Star, she replies, her orbit pulls back in.
It never reads what you wrote. It only notices that you talked.
I connected Flowstep to Claude Code over MCP and drove the whole build from my terminal. Loading my design system in as Flowstep's design guidelines first is what made 21 screens feel like one product. Then I put it live, so it's a real app you can use.

The strongest decision here is making distance the data itself instead of a chart about the data. Most check-in apps hand you a list, you built a feeling. The one thing I would protect as it scales is the crowded galaxy, since the whole power of the metaphor is that single glance staying readable.
It's true Asif. I also thought about it and end up concluding that we can build it like a galaxy and arrange our friends groups in different solar systems. For Example
Our Collage buddies will go to Alpha Centauri
Our School Buddies will go to Kepler-90.
So, that we can easily...
The structure makes it easy for users to take action.

Here's the thing about selling AI automation: nobody actually wants "workflow orchestration." People want fewer hours in the week and a smaller bill at the end of the month.
That's what made this one fun. Everyone in this space promises efficiency, and almost nobody shows what that means in money. So I built the whole site around making the value obvious before you even understand how the product works.
A few bits I'm happy with:
The cost calculator sits right on the page. No "contact us for a quote." You pick your own scope and the estimate moves as you go. Everyone in this category hides pricing, so just… showing it says a lot. Nice side effect — the wrong-fit leads filter themselves out before anyone gets on a call.
Before/after charts do the talking. Your current process next to the automated one. The gap between the two bars is basically the whole pitch, which means the copy gets to relax a bit.
Savings shown per month, not as a percentage. A percentage is trivia. A monthly number is money you're already spending on nothing.
Deep premium blue with warm, editorial photography. Every AI company reaches for the same cold neon gradients, so I went the other way. It ends up feeling like a premium consultancy rather than a dev tool — closer to whoever's actually approving the budget.
Design & UI/UX by me. Happy to walk anyone through the thinking.
