In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

I reimagined CapCut as an alternative brand for a computer graphics card designed for video editing, using CapCut Design Studio. It was a fun and rewarding creative challenge that allowed me to explore a completely different identity for the brand.

The creation process was fairly simple. I started by recreating the logo, then designed a series of prompts to generate the remaining visuals. To guide the creative direction and maintain consistency, I used a combination of images generated within the studio and photos from my own album as visual references.

Maybe I won't win, but this has been a wonderful experience, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to participate and create something unique.

Brand personification is such an awesome creative use case for AI. Here's how I imagine CapCut would look like as a person. Using CapCut's own Design Studio I created KAI. 👩‍🎤

KAI is animemaxxing digital human built entirely around CapCut's brand DNA. It's designed to live on socials delivering new CapCut feature drops, cool template releases, creator roasts, trend intel, and more.

I started with CapCut brand audit, then built the character brief inside Design Studio, went through multiple character and style iterations, and landed on a brand persona with visual identity and character attributes ready to be presented as a real creative brand / marketing direction. I used AI to generate an 18th-century version of CapCut.

The result? Video editing like someone was making TikToks in the age of candles, ink, and quill pens. Just raw analog creativity with a bit of chaos and old-school vibe.
