Your first 3 seconds decide everything — here is how I edit Reels, Shorts and TikToks to keep viewers watching. Short-form editing is not just cutting clips. It is hooks that land instantly, pacing that never drags, retention cuts that remove every dead second, clean captions, smooth transitions, sound design that adds energy, and colour grading that keeps the look premium. Which part kills your retention first — the hook, the pacing, or the captions? #ShortsEditing #VideoEditing #RetentionEditing #CapCut #ReelsEditing

What happens when you give an old piece a dark mode and a pair of sunglasses? 🕶️
I took a piece from my portfolio and ran it through Krea 3 to see how far I could push it while keeping the original composition.
Before → light and daytime.
After → dark mode, with sunglasses.
Where it helped: quick edits that kept the composition intact, making it easy to explore a different mood.
Where I’d still go by hand: final color balance, lens reflections, and those tiny details that make everything feel intentional.
Before or after? Tell me which one you’d keep and what you’d edit next 👇

A UGC video edit of my work. Can'believe how an AI could help the creative industries! It can help us to create us an asset even can turn it into a RAW footage.
What if an action movie had ZERO cuts?
What if an action movie had ZERO cuts?
I built a one-take chase sequence in Seedance 2.5; following a fugitive running through chaos, explosions, and close combat in real time.
The entire film is one continuous shot, designed to feel immersive, fast, and cinematic from start to...
This is a brilliant action sequence! Love how the chase builds from that dark, red-lit alley into the neon streets, then opens up with that dramatic rooftop jump. The pacing and sense of urgency are fantastic.
Really impressive cinematic work from Nathaniel. 👏
