Not every potential customer needs another sales pitch. Sometimes, they need more clarity.
Imagine someone showing interest in a service but not taking the next step.
It’s tempting to send another message asking if they’re ready to buy.
But what if they’re still unsure?
They might not fully understand the value of the offer. They might have unanswered questions. Or they might need more information before making a decision.
That’s where thoughtful email nurturing comes in.
A well planned email sequence can help businesses address concerns, communicate value, build trust, and guide potential customers towards the next step.
I’ve been practising this approach through a three email nurture sequence for a service based business as part of my copywriting portfolio.
My goal was to make each email build naturally on the previous one instead of making every message feel like another sales pitch.
I’m continuing to develop my email copywriting skills and look forward to applying them to real business projects.
For business owners: What’s the biggest challenge you face when following up with potential customers?
