Two heroes. Same florist. Opposite strategy.
Editorial sells the feeling. Big serif line, one bouquet, trust badges below.
Bouquets sells the deal. No hero image. Straight into product grid, prices, promo code up top.
One asks you to fall in love. One asks you to buy now.
Flowers are impulse buys with emotional weight. Which wins more carts?

Late to the vote but I'd have gone Editorial too. Flowers are gifted more than bought for yourself, so that emotional framing matches the actual purchase reason better than a price grid does.

That's the sharpest reasoning in the thread. Gifting changes the whole calculus, the buyer isn't the one who benefits, so price is almost beside the point. Editorial sells the moment the flowers create, not the flowers themselves. Bouquets would probably win harder for corporate...

Editorial is nice

Editorial's been the crowd favorite so far too. Makes sense, it sells the feeling before the price. Curious if that holds once people see the cart total though šŸ˜„

Editorial keeps stacking up 🌸 Curious what tips it for you, is it the headline, the single hero shot, or the trust badges underneath?

I will go for the editorial

Editorial's clearly the crowd's pick 🌸 What's sealing it for you, the copy or the visual?

This made me rethink my own landing page.
I'm building an AI contract review tool, and I realized people aren't "buying" when they land on it. They're deciding whether they trust me enough to paste a sensitive legal document.
So an editorial approach makes much more sense than a...

That's a sharp read. Trust-first makes even more sense for you than it does for flowers, honestly. A bouquet is a $50 impulse buy. A contract is a document someone doesn't want to be embarrassed about, wrong about, or exposed by. The stakes are higher, so the "can I trust this"...

Editorial one looks more prominent and focused.
Asif's avatar
Good read. "prominent and focused" is basically the whole design thesis behind Editorial: one hero, one message, nothing competing for attention. Bouquets throws four products at you at once, so nothing gets to be the star.

Bouquets holding the minority position 🌸 What's pulling you toward it, the prices up front or just preferring to see options right away?

Like the idea of showing the product cards directly in the hero in bouquets ✨

Fair point, skipping the "convince me" step and going straight to inventory has its own logic, especially if people are already primed to buy (return customers, ad traffic that already wants flowers). Less romance, more speed to cart.

Editorial looks more premium than bouquets
Asif's avatar
"Premium" is doing a lot of work there, negative space, one hero image, and serif type all read as expensive even before anyone reads the copy. Bouquets' grid layout has more of a marketplace feel, which isn't wrong, just a different price point signal.

Editorial's clearly carrying this one 🌸 What's the vibe doing for you, calm and premium, or something else?

Clean's the word coming up again and again with Editorial 🌸 Makes sense, one hero image and a lot of breathing room will do that.

Will go for editorial

Great test. One thing people miss is that the hero choice also affects speed. A heavy editorial image can hurt LCP on mobile if it is not optimized, which quietly undercuts the feeling it sells. I usually preload the hero and lazy-load everything below. Did editorial also win on returning visitors?
Asif's avatar
Good catch, no returning-visitor split though, this was a community vote, not a live A/B test.
On LCP: agreed, preload the hero, lazy-load the rest. Editorial's whole pitch depends on that image landing fast. Jank-load it and "premium" turns into "broken." Bouquets is more...
