Spent a weekend prototyping a custom card design flow for a fintech app. Not Figma frames, actual SwiftUI screens running on device.
The designer picks their card theme, uploads a photo, chooses where the details sit (front or back face), and confirms. The card responds to gyroscope tilt in real time. Scrub the spending chart and the number morphs with a haptic tick on each data point. Confetti on order confirm.
This is the workflow I'm bringing to teams, concept to tappable prototype in days, not sprints. Not something to hand off to developers to interpret. Something you can feel.

Car interfaces keep gaining features, but experience gets lost in complexity. With River, we stripped that back: only surface what the driver needs, when they need it.
We wanted the HMI to belong to the car, not sit on top. So we designed both as one system: car, interior, cluster, main display, app.
Rive was key to bringing the whole system to life. We used joysticks and blend states to animate the cluster gauges, solos to play back a pre-rendered Blender navigation scene on the central display, and state machine inputs to bring the whole prototype to life.
We then built a companion app and plugged it into a manufacturer's API to test against real vehicle data. The app works like a key: gives you access and gets out of the way. Just the right function at the right moment.
One ecosystem where every screen earns its place.

Hey everyone, my submission for HMI challenge: an updated HMI design for a classic 007 vehicle, reimagined and built as state-driven prototype in Rive.
I updated the instrument cluster for the Lotus Esprit submarine car from the James Bond classic The Spy Who Loved Me, imagining how a digital version of the UI could reconfigure itself across driving, submersible navigation, and combat modes. This included animating each step of the vehicle transformation in 3D and bringing into Rive.
Drive → Submersible → Combat
Each mode shifts the structure of the HMI layout from speed-based driving to sonar navigation and targeting systems.
The interesting part was designing motion as part of the system logic rather than just animation.
All 2D and 3D built and animated (surpise) without AI.
