My gut says without it, on a track day site the hero image should feel like speed and adrenaline first, branding second. Is the client leaning one way already, or are they genuinely torn between the two?

Im think this too. It is for a template no client.

I think option 1 is too covered. But option 2 is too empty too i would do something in between. Good design!

i'm a fan of the option (2) without it, surprisingly! i love the visual, but i think its incorporation up in the left hand corner pulls enough weight, plus the image is so dynamic, i wouldn't wanna distract!

Exactly what I was thinking. Not sure whether to lose it or use it for a headline instead. It is clean without it.

i think a headline makes for a perfect way to still incorporate it, tbh! either that or somehow working the design to complement even a small bit of the typography could make use of your design while almost upping the ante on individuality.

I may test some things out before I publish it

I'd go without the large logo. The car and motion already grab attention, and the headline stays the hero.

I like option2 better option1 has a lot of visual competition (in my opinion)
