Work in Progress: Mandilas — Multi-Service Commerce Mobile App
I'm currently documenting the full case study for Mandilas, a mobile platform (iOS & Android) that unifies vehicle purchases, HVAC systems, spare parts sourcing, workshop repair services, and live auctions into one seamless product experience.
The core design challenge: making a product this complex feel effortless to a user who feels overwhelmed before they even open the app.
Key design decisions I made and why:
— Unified Services and Spare Parts into a single 'Workshop' module. In the real world, repairs and parts are one journey. The UI now reflects that instead of separating them artificially.
— Replaced open-form service inputs with a 4-step guided request flow. Structure reduces confusion and produces better data for backend assignment.
— Built the auction system as a first-class feature with live bidding, countdown timers, and seamless conversion to purchase — not a buried tab.
Case study sections still in progress:
— User persona and journey map
— Information architecture
— Task flow diagrams
— Outcomes and results
— Key learnings
This is one of several case studies I am currently building across fintech, marketplace, EdTech, and service platform projects. Full case study dropping soon.
Designed a dashboard concept for tracking net worth across every asset type — stocks, crypto, property, pensions, funds, cash, and liabilities — all in one place.
Instead of the usual pie chart or bar graph, the centerpiece is a dial: a single, glanceable gauge showing where your wealth actually sits. Behind it, a quiet grid of every asset category fades in and out of visibility, reinforcing that everything's accounted for even when it's not the focus.
Dark UI, a single confident green accent, and a lot of negative space — built to make a genuinely overwhelming task (seeing your entire financial picture at once) feel calm instead of cluttered.
A car rental website shouldn't make people think too much. It should help them find the right car, understand the price, trust the service, and book with confidence.
I designed SENE around exactly that principle.
