This project is built around a feeling many people know but rarely talk about the kind of longing that isn’t just about food, but about home itself.
Mẹ Bahay lives between cultures. Rooted in Southeast Asia, but shaped by distance, migration, and memory. The name combines “Mẹ” (mother) and “Bahay” (home), reflecting how home is often defined by people, not places.
Instead of focusing on a single culinary tradition, the idea was to create something more universal something that speaks to shared experiences, especially for those who’ve spent time away from home.

Combining my love for brewing cafe drinks at home, I decided to why not put my portfolio into a cafe style menu. Safe to say, I am quite pleased with how this turned out! 😊
