What object in your life holds the most memory?
For the CapCut Video Studio Challenge - "What Remains" is a one-minute film about something quietly universal - the way the moments we share with people live on in the spaces they touched. A spinning record. A cup of coffee. An unread message. Small things. But they hold so much.
The traces we leave behind tell a story all their own. 13 final prompted shots (after many during exploration) building a portrait of someone through the objects they left behind. No dialogue. No faces. Just stillness, light, and the quietness of what persists.
Some people leave a mark on a room long after they have left it. This film is for them.

Can an AI tool understand your aesthetic or just simulate it?
I fed Google Stitch one prompt. No code. No Figma.
Full dark UI. Filterable gallery. Cyber-brutalist system.
Mobile-responsive. Figma export. One shot.
~70% of my vision. But the soul wasn't there.
I had to push it:
→ "More chaotic"
→ "Denser. Less whitespace."
→ "Typography more system-like."
Iteration requires taste.
Taste isn't in the prompt.
Stitch is a validated idea machine.
The Figma export alone is worth it for MVPs.
But the freelancers who win?
The ones who know exactly what to ask and why.
The prompt is the brief. Write it like one.
