Social icons always feel like an afterthought on portfolio sites I keep noticing this when exploring portfolio sites recently 99% of social icons are just icons with some boring hover effects and call it done. I thought of it, and just come up with some cool interaction which you can do to showcase the social icons, link and text too. (it's easy to customise as per your needs and requirements.) So I made a small dock (LOGO DOCK) where the icons stay minimal by default, then the label appears when you hover. it can be any other text too as whatever you choose. it's nothing crazy tho, but doing this small change make your portfolio or any website more interactive. that's where unique and different visuals come, right.
