9 years of design. First Contra Labs project. Here's what happened.
A week ago I got accepted into Contra Labs as a Brand Designer. This week I completed my first paid project through it.

A few days ago, I started taking my Contra profile seriously.
Since then, I've:
Built out my portfolio with real projects
Published case studies and technical content
Refined my services to focus on AI, automation, and full-stack development
Connected with other professionals in the community
Today, my profile reached 33 points.
It's a small milestone, but it's a reminder that consistency beats perfection. Every project, every post, and every improvement adds up.
My focus isn't just growing a profile—it's building a portfolio that reflects the kind of work I enjoy creating: AI-powered applications, workflow automation, scalable web platforms, and custom software solutions.

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆 🥹❤️. Most people know me as a designer and art director, but in reality, a huge part of what I do is education
For the past 4 years, I’ve been building my own design school Hyperactive Education where we teach UI/UX design, product design, and how to build strong portfolios from scratch to advanced level
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗜 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 — 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 🎉
Honestly, this is one of my favorite moments in the entire process. Because this is the moment when I get to see students “become designers” for the first time
They go from learning fundamentals to presenting full projects as if they’re speaking to real clients or stakeholders.
What makes it even more meaningful is that I grow together with every cohort.
My students constantly show me what can be improved — in the system, in the teaching, in how we structure learning. So in a way, their progress is also a reflection of my own work and my team’s work.
It’s a shared responsibility. And always a moment of evaluation from both sides
Today I’m genuinely proud. I saw people who just a few weeks ago were learning basics now confidently presenting complete, thoughtful design projects.
And it never stops being emotional for me 🥹🥹🥹
