I have been working on a brand and exploring hexagons. Branding has different and progressive stages, but when it comes to the ideation of the logos stage, it's important to test sketches. Here's one result that I personally liked, but that didn't matter because there's one logo out there, already existing, that is similar. Sometimes the difference can be minimal, not noticeable by the majority, but you can't afford to take any chances. So, you end up back on the drawing board.

Exploring through sketches first always makes the final mark stronger. The hexagon direction feels structured but still flexible — nice balance.
