Some products start with a feature.
This project started with a behavior worth changing.
The idea was built around something most of us know too well: reaching for the phone almost automatically, often without even realizing why.
VELTO is a reimagined concept exploring a different approach through a wearable device and companion app designed to make those moments more intentional.
My role was to help turn the original idea into a product experience people could understand, use, and believe in.
That meant thinking beyond individual screens.
How should the wearable and app work together? What should happen when the user feels the impulse to check their phone? How do we keep the experience simple enough to support the habit change instead of becoming another source of friction? And how do we communicate the idea clearly enough for investors to understand both the problem and the long-term potential?
I worked across the product flows, interface concepts, visual direction, and investor presentation.
The goal was to make a new idea feel tangible.
Not just something that sounds interesting in a pitch, but something you can imagine using in real life.
That’s one of the parts of product design I enjoy most: taking an early idea and giving it enough structure, clarity, and character to start feeling real.
