What if you could edit reality instead of just editing a video?
I created a 55-second cinematic sci-fi heist about two wanted fugitives attempting the impossible: breaking into CapCut World LA without taking a conventional route.
He's the Jumper. She's the Editor.
While he's escaping aircraft, sprinting across highways suspended above clouds, and surviving gravity-defying skyscrapers, she's remotely manipulating the CapCut timeline—turning ordinary editing operations into physical changes in his world.
The idea was to make editing itself the superpower.
Inspired by the kinetic storytelling of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, the architectural spectacle of Inception, and the inventive transitions of Everything Everywhere All at Once.
I combined 3D previsualization, AI-generated cinematography, detailed character and environment references, and CapCut editing to create a complete miniature action movie
No ticket. No passport. Just one very good Editor.

Hi Suzy! I'm preparing my submission for the CapCut World LA Challenge, but I'm having trouble with the CapCut project link.
I created the video using Seedance 2.5 in CapCut Desktop, then added it to a CapCut Web project. I enabled "Anyone with the link," but the link works only...
What started as a travel idea turned into a pretty wild ride.
For the CapCut World LA challenge, I wanted to create something a little crazy, a little cool, and a little funny — taking an ordinary ticket and turning it into an adventure that goes completely off the rails.
From freefalling through the sky to some unexpected encounters above Los Angeles, this was all about pushing my imagination and having fun with the possibilities of AI filmmaking, sound design, and editing.
Because sometimes, the journey is much more interesting when you have absolutely no idea where you're going. 😂
Created for the CapCut World LA creator challenge.
