Excited to share the completion of the Brand Identity for Bodak X, a streetwear brand built around expression, culture, confidence, and individuality.
Our goal was to create an identity that felt bold, memorable, and instantly recognizable while staying true to the creative direction of the brand.
At the heart of the identity is the logo concept: we creatively combined the B from Bodak and the X to form a distinctive smiley face. The result is a simple but expressive mark that gives the brand its own personality — playful, confident, and effortlessly cool.
For us, great branding is more than creating something that looks good. It's about ensuring every visual element captures the direction, personality, and story behind the brand.
Bodak X is bold. Bodak X is expressive. Bodak X wears its identity with a smile.

Combining the B and X into a smile gives the identity a story that fits the streetwear direction. I’d like to see how the mark holds up on a small embroidered label versus a large back print—those two scales could bring out different sides of its personality.

The original identity had a clear starting point, but as the company prepared to launch its product and enter conversations with investors, it became clear that the visual language no longer reflected the brand’s ambition.
For Bewy, we moved away from a literal and playful visual language toward something more refined, credible and future-oriented.
The new identity is built around three ideas: space, letter B, and progress.

Why do half the skincare and fashion brands launching this year look like they share the same designer?
Serif logotype, tight tracking, one accent color. ✅ It reads as elevated the first time. By the twentieth brand, it reads as a template, not a decision.
Safe typography isn't neutral, it's a choice too, sometimes one that avoids taking a position 🤭.
So I designed a set of mockups with custom letterforms built to argue the opposite: type with weight, texture, and enough attitude to hold its ground on a shelf full of quiet logos. 💅
What's the last fashion or skincare brand whose type actually made you stop scrolling?
