I turned simple icons into animated icons using Figma Motion
Icons don't have to just sit there.
A phone can ring.
A shopping cart can move.
A notification bell can shake.
A heart can react.
A success icon can celebrate.
So I took a few simple icons and brought them to life using Figma Motion.
What I animated:
Phone Icon — a subtle ringing motion
Shopping Cart — movement that makes it feel interactive
Success Icon — a satisfying confirmation animation
Notification Bell — a notification-style shake
Heart Icon — a simple interaction/like animation
Running Icon — movement that gives the character energy
The goal wasn't to make complicated animations.
It was to show how small movements can make a digital product feel more alive.
Why does this matter?
Think about the apps you use every day.
When you tap like and the heart reacts...
When the bell shakes because you have a new notification...
When a checkmark appears after completing something...
Those tiny interactions make the experience feel more human.

Responsive. Adaptive Product Icon System
A dark-mode look at the custom icon system we created for Responsive.
The translucent outer layer allows each icon to react to its environment, so the system can shift in feel between light and dark interfaces without losing its core visual language.

The translucent outer layer trick is such a clean way to handle light/dark without redesigning the whole set twice. Did Spline make that reactive shift easier than expected, or were there some snags getting the transitions smooth?

The cocnept rotates around one contrast: retro looks vs. advanced technology. Nostalgic and cute on the outside, smart and adaptive underneath.
