One thing I enjoyed about building this was exploring how quickly Figma Make can take an idea from concept to working product. Instead of spending hours setting up logic and interfaces manually, I was able to focus more on the experience and refine the details along the way.

Askly — AI-Powered Local Help Marketplace
The Problem
I noticed that finding local help for everyday tasks is often frustrating. Most platforms require users to create accounts, browse through multiple categories, fill long forms, and spend time searching before they can get assistance.
I wanted to explore a simpler experience.
What if users could open an app, describe what they need in plain language, and instantly get matched with nearby service providers?
The Goal
My goal was to design a mobile experience that removes unnecessary steps and helps users find trusted local help as quickly as possible.
The focus was on:
Reducing friction
Making AI the primary entry point
Creating a fast and intuitive booking flow
Building trust between customers and service providers
My Process
I started by mapping the complete user journey, from opening the app to booking a service provider.
I explored different interaction patterns and eventually centered the experience around a conversational AI search.
Instead of forcing users to navigate categories, Askly allows them to simply type requests such as:
"I need help moving to a new house."
The AI then understands the request, identifies relevant service providers, and presents nearby matches.
Key Design Decisions
AI-First Experience
The home screen was designed around a single input field where users can describe their needs naturally.
This reduces cognitive load and creates a more human experience.
Live Matching Experience
Instead of showing a loading screen, I designed a live matching state where users can see potential service providers appearing while the AI searches.
This keeps users informed and makes the system feel responsive.
