5:54 AM. Mid-run. I stopped because of a tree.
That tree became this mark.
Two books. Three months of studying process, strategy, and what makes a logo actually last. Then I gave myself a real brief - Tierra Clay, a ceramic studio rooted in the mountains of Himachal.
Sketched for hours. Nothing came. Called it a night.
Next morning, mid-run - Y-shaped branches catching early light. Stopped, opened Notes, drew the roughest sketch you've ever seen on the road.
Got home. Paper. Illustrator. Done.
The block wasn't a wall. It was a signal to step away.
What's a project that only clicked after you walked away from it?
The mid-run sketch origin is a good reminder that the best ideas don't come from staring at the brief. The Y-branch mark reading as a tree rooted to the earth works really naturally for a Himachal ceramic studio.

For the #ConfigMakeathon, I created Book Trace. It is a reading journal app that helps you capture thoughts while you read, and leave a personal trace when you finish.
[Concept]
Book Trace turns the experience of reading into something you can hold onto. Instead of forgetting what a book meant to you, you leave a Trace — one sentence, one emotion, one word. The app also reads what you wrote and tells you what kind of reader you are, with book recommendations matched to your type and genre.
[Project Overview]
For this submission, I designed:
- Onboarding flow;
- Still Reading experience with in-the-moment note capture;
- Finished flow with the full Trace journey;
- Reader Identity system with personalized recommendations;
- Library with saved traces;
- UI Kit and design system.
[Workflow]
I built the full product from concept to prototype in Figma. UI Kit, component library, and interactive flows all in one file.
[My Experience]
What I loved most about this challenge was how it pushed me to think about the full user journey, not just screens, but emotions. Book Trace started as a simple idea and grew into something that feels genuinely personal.
Figma made it possible to move from rough concept to polished prototype without ever leaving the workspace.

Belares: one identity built to hold from the boardroom to the construction site.
Belares is a civil engineering company spanning residential, commercial, industrial and public works. The brief was a single identity for the full operation: technical authority, safety and durability, communicated with precision.
Three decisions shaped the system. First, a restrained green-and-bone palette that signals institutional weight without going cold. Second, a wordmark engineered to read at distance, on a helmet, a site banner, a shipping container. Third, a documented set of rules so the brand stays consistent across field and corporate contexts, applied by teams the studio never meets.
The result is an identity that fits both a stakeholder deck and a worksite fence, without compromising either.
