On TikTok Shop, minor technical mismatches can halt momentum completely. Here are the 4 most common listing bottlenecks and how to fix them:
Category Mismatch & Restricted Attributes: TikTok’s automated review is strict. Putting an item under a generic category instead of a precise micro-category often triggers auto-rejections. Always match required attributes exactly to your target category specification.
Brand Authorization & IP Flags: Using branded terms, generic brand claims, or supplier watermarks on AliExpress/dropshipped assets triggers immediate copyright reviews. Clean all stock assets and ensure brand ownership is explicitly validated in Seller Center.
Warehouse & Shipping Profile Mappings: Just like on Shopify, if your physical or third-party fulfillment location isn’t mapped with an active shipping template for your target market, the listing will show as frozen or unpurchasable to buyers.
